[Consulting Case] Listed Manufacturer <Manufacturing Industry>

We will introduce examples of study sessions held on industry-specific risks, related laws and regulations, and general insurance types!

We would like to introduce a consulting case for a publicly listed manufacturer that has been dealing with a single insurance company for many years. Upon examining the applicable standard insurance policy and special provisions, it was found that the initial settings had not been reviewed, resulting in coverage that was not effective as a risk mitigation strategy for the company. In response, we held study sessions on industry-specific risks, relevant laws and regulations, and general insurance types. We supported changes to the contract conditions to ensure that the insurance policy could serve as an effective risk mitigation strategy, allowing the company to secure the necessary insurance payouts. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - Upon examining the applicable standard insurance policy and special provisions, it was found that the coverage was not effective as a risk mitigation strategy for the company. ■ Solutions - We supported changes to the contract conditions to ensure that the insurance policy could serve as an effective risk mitigation strategy, allowing the company to secure the necessary insurance payouts. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Consulting Case] Retail Industry

An example of a consulting-type proposal related to identifying risks based on business models!

We would like to introduce a consulting case for companies that operate e-commerce sites and sell products. Upon collecting and reviewing all securities, it was found that the insurance design was unsuitable for the company's scale and business type, including standard property and equipment fire insurance and packaged liability insurance. Therefore, we explained that risk assessment should not be based solely on the manufacturer’s liability as defined by the Product Liability Law, and discussed the responsibilities of business companies that handle vast amounts of personal information. We provided consulting-type proposals regarding the limits of compensation that should be covered. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - It was revealed that the insurance design, including standard property and equipment fire insurance and packaged liability insurance, was unsuitable for the company's scale and business type. ■ Solutions - Conducted a consulting-type proposal regarding the identification of risks based on the business type and the limits of compensation that should be covered. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

We will introduce an example of proposing a shift to insurance design content that should be covered as a listed company!

We would like to introduce a consulting case for a publicly listed company with its headquarters in a regional city, which has bases across Japan. As a result of securities analysis, it was found that the insurance coverage was not comparable to that of large companies with branches nationwide. It was also revealed that the insurance company’s representatives were inexperienced in making proposals to large corporations such as publicly listed companies. Therefore, after thoroughly interviewing the practical teams regarding the flow of goods and logistics, we conducted multiple study sessions for the insurance department. Based on the current situation identified during the interviews, we proposed a transition to an insurance design that should be covered as a publicly listed company. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - The insurance coverage was not comparable to that of large companies with branches nationwide. - The insurance company’s representatives were inexperienced in making proposals to large corporations such as publicly listed companies. ■ Solutions - Conducted multiple study sessions for the insurance department. - Proposed a transition to an insurance design that should be covered as a publicly listed company. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
